Chardonnay 2008
Duncan Harris is starting to make serious statement with his chardonnays. This one comes off his organic vineyard and has been fermented with natural yeasts. A light pressing before ageing in America oak has produced a funky style with complex nuances on the nose and a palate that retains long steely thread to the finish. Rich wine of great poise.
Shiraz 2005
This is a very good follow up to the 2004 which I rated highly. Its been given the full treatment with natural yeast fermentation and then 20 months in a combination of American and French oak. Lifted spicy frangrances merge into the rich savoury dark plum aromas. On the palate the tannins are firm and assertive but the palate soft and generous. Nice wine in the short term." Ray Jordan 2010.
Shiraz 2004 "The best Shiraz I have tasted from these guys. It has been naturally fermented and given 20 months in American and French oak. Works well for me with its seamless earthy and slightly savoury palate. Nice wine." Ray Jordan 2009.
Thank you for your superb wine-pack: we fell on it with glad cries.
Hi Duncan, Just wanted to let you know that we're loving the Grape Picker's Reserve. We like the occasional white but this has totally converted us.
Don't know if many of our family/friends will get a bottle as it is such a great drink. Could you please remind me what grapes they were?
Many thanks for all your effort to include us in the making of a wine and for providing the delicious grapes and production methods.
Have an ab fab week!

Home at long last, and our first bottle of red after such a long journey was none other than a ripper of a bottle of 1999 LedaSwan Shiraz, oh my dear lord was it delicious!

Comments: "Gotta tell you, I drained the whole bottle of this after I'd done a days tasting. It's sweet and lush in a dessert wine style with no added preservative or alcohol. I love it". (87/100) Ray Jordan's Wine Guide 2006
Thank you Duncan.
"Can I say your red wine (Shiraz 2007) is superb! It was the winner!" Sue.” July 2010
