Harris Organic Wines was established in 1998. It is the only certified organic winery in the Swan Valley, Western Australia. Harris Organic Wines produce organic (low or no added preservative) table, dessert and sparkling wines: please click on the name of the wine to read tasting notes.

At Harris Organic we use sustainable vineyard practices that include NO HERBICIDES, PESTICIDES NOR CHEMICAL FERTILISER. We do not irrigate our vineyard. Our vines have been raised to thrive on rainfall alone; apart from economic sustainability, this contributes to higher quality wines that have a unique and rich flavour. Our certifier is Australian Certified Organic and we are an 'A' grade producer (#10570A).
Harris Organic Wines are carefully hand-made by winemaker Duncan; from beginning of growing the fruit in the vineyard through to bottling, the Harris's carry out all aspects of organic wine production at their small winery. From 2 hectare of vines the Harris family produce a relatively small production of 500 cases - but while our quantities are modest, so are our prices. Character and soul make our wines special, not high prices.
Located in Memorial Avenue just 28 kms from central Perth, Harris Organic is owned and operated by winemaker Duncan Harris and his wife Deb, with the help of wwoofers (see our Willing Workers On Organic Farms page).
